BOOST Percussion Group & George Georgiou is a contemporary music concert taking place as part of the 17th Pharos Contemporary Music Festival in Cyprus.
The concert will feature the world premiere of the work “Zourrrrr…” by Cypriot composer Andys Skordis, commissioned by the festival. Inspired by the rituals of the Nguning tribe, the music combines instrumental performance, theatrical elements, and performance art.
BOOST Percussion Group – a Spanish percussion ensemble making its debut in Cyprus—and renowned Cypriot clarinetist George Georgiou, who will perform on the bass clarinet.
