Film Fest Gent 2026 is the 53rd Ghent International Film Festival, the largest and one of the most prestigious film festivals in Belgium. It will take place in the city of Ghent from October 7 to 18, 2026.
The festival’s main unique feature is its focus on music in film. Although it screens a wide variety of feature films, documentaries, and short films, the primary emphasis is placed on soundtracks, sound design, and the role of music in cinema.
