The Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series, Act 1, is the first stage of an annual winter sailing regatta series. This prestigious event is organized by the Yacht Club de Monaco and takes place in the waters of Monaco Bay.
The series was established in 2013 at the initiative of renowned yachtsman Valentin Zavadnikov. It was conceived as a series of monthly training races (running from November to March) designed to allow professional and amateur crews from across Europe to stay in shape and test their equipment during the off-season.
