The festival traditionally takes place on the green Óbuda Island (Óbudai-sziget), located right in the middle of the Danube River within Budapest.
Sziget is renowned for its multi-genre format. Dozens of stages operate simultaneously, featuring rock, pop, indie, hip-hop, and electronic music.
The list of headliners announced for 2026 includes:
Twenty One Pilots,
Florence + The Machine,
Bring Me the Horizon,
Lewis Capaldi,
Zara Larsson,
Skepta, and Jorja Smith.
In addition to music, guests can look forward to large-scale circus shows in the new Le Grand Théâtre space, street theater performances, the Magic Mirror zone (celebrating its 25th anniversary), and dance performances.
