A major exhibition titled “The Wedding of the Century,” marking the 70th anniversary of the union between Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III, has opened in the State Apartments of the Prince’s Palace of Monaco. The exhibition meticulously recreates the celebratory week of April 12–19, 1956—from the Hollywood star’s arrival at the port to the newlyweds’ departure for their honeymoon. Among the more than 500 items on display are archival photographs, personal belongings, wedding gifts (including a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud), and previously unpublished documents. Visitors can view an exact replica of Grace Kelly’s legendary wedding dress, as well as her jewelry, including a Cartier diamond necklace.
An additional photo exhibition is also open in the Monte Carlo Casino Atrium (until September 13, 2026).
