Show – Festivity of International Tourist Interest
This is the 72nd International Habanera and Choral Competition (Certamen Internacional de Habaneras y Polifonía), one of the most prestigious choral events in the world, which has the status of a Festival of International Tourist Interest.
This competition brings together professional and amateur choirs from all over the world. It celebrates the habanera genre—a rhythmic and nostalgic music of Cuban origin brought to Torrevieja by Spanish sailors in the 19th century.
