The Athens Democracy Forum 2026 is the 14th international conference dedicated to the issues, challenges, and future of the development of democracy worldwide.
The forum will take place in Athens, Greece, across several historic and modern venues. The Costa Navarino hotel traditionally serves as the primary location (for off-site sessions), while the main city-based proceedings are held at iconic cultural centers: the Zappeion Megaron, a monumental building in the heart of Athens; the Athens Conservatoire, a modern cultural space; and the Ancient Agora, the historic birthplace of democracy (for ceremonial events).
