«Cortina: The Queen of Speed» is the official slogan and title of the FIS Women’s Alpine Ski World Cup event. From January 15 to 17, 2027, the famous Italian resort of Cortina d’Ampezzo will host these prestigious international competitions.
The world’s best female skiers compete in speed disciplines (downhill and super-G). It is precisely because of the focus on breakneck speed that this stage is traditionally known as «The Queen of Speed.»
The competitions will take place on the legendary Olympia delle Tofane course, considered one of the most picturesque and challenging on the global alpine skiing calendar.
