Ars Electronica is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious festivals of technology and media art, held annually in Linz, Austria. It is not a music rave, but a global interdisciplinary platform where art, modern technology, and society intersect.
New format: Unlike in previous years, the festival will not have a single central location. The entire city center of Linz will transform into a vast open-air laboratory. The events will take place in the most unexpected locations—from St. Mary’s Cathedral to educational institutions, old hospitals, and art spaces.
