Calvià combines sport and tourism with its international half marathon, held at the same time as the 10-kilometre race.
What began in 1984 as a local competition now welcomes athletes from 24 different countries and three continents who have been among its top finishers. This season is also expected to draw a large field of contenders, thanks to its perfect combination: a city full of high quality tourist services, and a top-flight athletic competition.
